Larkin Sentral is the main public transport terminal and the largest in Johor Bahru. It became a focus of the public who wish to use public transport such as buses and taxis.
As the major transportation terminal, the public bus services operating here include travel to all destinations in Malaysia as well as Singapore and Southern Thailand. Further to this, Taxi services provide trips to major cities in Johor and travel long distances to destinations outside Johor.
Larkin Sentral is divided into two components, namely the terminal building and market. An estimated 60,000 people visit Larkin Sentral every day and will increase on weekends, school holidays and festivities.

Bus services and travel agencies
A total of 56 operators offering services for express buses, stage buses, buses to Singapore and domestic tour packages and Singapore. Ticket counters for this bus service is located on the ground floor of the terminal building.
The fresh market is located on the ground floor of the market building and has 225 lots. Fresh goods such as fish, vegetables, meat, fruits and spices are available in this market.
Renovation and upgrading the fresh market Larkin Sentral was implemented in 2010 to show the wider business lots, additional lighting, improved air flow and wider pedestrian space for the convenience of visitors.
This market opens as early as 3:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm. The market is closed every Monday for cleaning work.
Larkin Sentral has 394 bazaar stalls that sell a variety of items such as daily and traditional clothing , bags, shoes , books , groceries , health products , wedding items , snacks , and services such as tailoring and health clinics.
Ahead of the Aidilfitri celebrations every year, a Ramadan bazaar will be set up in a parking area near the terminal building. It is known as the Ramadan bazaar that sells cookies and festive cakes, home decorations and breaking fast meals.
A food court with 76 stalls is located on the 2nd floor and offers a wide selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food court can accommodate up to 1,000 visitors at a time.
In addition to the food court, there are also fast food restaurants, bakeries and coffee houses located on the ground floor.
